We really enjoyed our meal here. Our initial welcome was lacking by the ? Manager who ushered us into the quieter room - I think where the tourists are put (the main room seemed more lively and full of locals). However our waiter was delightful and very engaging - recommending various dishes and making us feel welcome. Really enjoyed the raw meat and veal! Would go back if we stayed longer.

We did reservation and didn’t wait to be seated. All staff were so kind. All portion were so generous. There is bad comment about these there points but we didn’t have any bad experiences about that. We tried traditional foods which are so delicious. We recommend all of them. Ambiance, staff, foods all are amazing. The rate of restaurant should be higher than 4.1.

I wonder how they can make things like a pizza so fast, so simple, so tasty and very cheap. For me this is what you imagine when you think in Italy, being local and eating in your favorite regular restaurant. Waiters are expressive, kind and efficient

This is a place in a small street a few blocks away from the Duomo. It has good food - authentic afas I can judge. But apparently this place is in enough touristy guides that most of the customers are tourists. That reduced the ‘authenticity factor’ of my visit.

Dining at Trattoria Milanese was nothing short of a revelation. Every single dish was mind-blowingly delicious — the kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite, look at your companions, and smile because you know you’re experiencing something truly special.
The flavors were deep, honest, and perfectly balanced — classic Milanese cuisine executed with soul, confidence, and absolute mastery. Nothing felt forced or overworked; everything tasted like tradition refined by decades of love and skill.
But what truly elevated the experience from exceptional to unforgettable was Nino Tony, our Sicilian gentleman— the undeniable heart and character of this restaurant. Charming, warm, effortlessly charismatic, and full of genuine passion, he didn’t just serve the food; he guided the experience. His presence brought humor, elegance, and a sense of being welcomed like family rather than customers.
Restaurants like this are rare. This isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place to feel. Trattoria Milanese delivers excellence on the plate and magic in the room. One of those meals you’ll remember long after you leave Milan — and one you’ll return to without hesitation.

Simply unforgettable.
