Ristorante smeralda bar pizzeria tipico napoletano con piu di 10 anni di storia e passione con cucina contemporanea e piatti tipici napoletani e sardi

Loved this place! Ate here twice while on our trip. The staff is delightful and the owner is so accommodating. I told him about my gluten allergy and he said of course we have gluten free pasta and pizza. Got pasta the first night and the chef came out and said the rigatoni pasta had been contaminated so he didn’t feel comfortable serving it and if I wanted to sub for the gluten free spaghetti which was totally fine for me and the meal was amazing. Night two I got the pizza and was sooooo good, the owner went in the pizza location to inform the chef as well. Highly recommend should have gone back for night 3 because the place across the street had no idea what gluten free was and ended up getting a salad and shrimp that was as small as the palm of my hand…so stick with this place loved it!

I ate here as solo for lunch 2 times last week. Lovely menu and no rushing me after. I could read and drink coffee as long as I pleased. Very good shade and fans make eating here very comfortable on a hot day. Very good service. Highly recommend the Montanara for lunch.

Nice and central location; the staff was more or less fine, but the fish served was half of what was presented with the order, and only the pizza was really tasty. The “excellent octopus plate” was reheated canned food, and the grilled vegetables were served when we asked for the bill. A few conclusions: consider other places, order mainly pizza, and ask the fish to be served in front of you. I didn't tip the waiter.

This is an average bar that we only entered because the waiter spoke to us in Spanish. After chatting with him for a bit, we ordered the risotto alla pescatora. The waiter asked if we preferred everything on one single plate or divided into two separate plates. Since we were sharing, we decided to have it served all together on one plate so we could each serve ourselves.
The risotto came with just one prawn, 5 clams (3 of which were completely empty), and a few mussels. When we asked for the bill, the risotto—which was listed as €25 per plate—suddenly became €50.
I complained to the waiter, and he claimed he had explained it poorly. He said that because the risotto has a two-person minimum and cannot be made for just one person, that’s just how it is. In other words, we paid the price of two full portions for just the single dish we actually ate, when they should have served us two separate portions.
In all my years of traveling, I have never been scammed like this. Do not go.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant experience. The food was exceptionally high quality,

The service was equally outstanding. A special thank you to our waiter Luca, who made the whole evening unforgettable. He was professional, warm, funny, and gave us some of the best laughs of the night. His energy and attitude truly elevated the entire experience.

Wonderful atmosphere, amazing food, and top-class service. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. -Ville & Heli from Finland
