Today I was looking for a tranquil place amongst greenery for lunch near Rivoli Veronese and found on Google Search 'La Cicala e La Fenice'.
It's situated amongst the rolliing grape and kiwi vined hills surrounding the south eastern shore of Lake Garda.
Lovely place where I ordered the 'menù del giorno' and was quite impressed by the amount of food, price and location. Only 6kms from Affi motorway exit.

Wonderful restaurant, warm people, delicious cuisine. I'll come back to Italy for such places, even though I'm drawn to the East.
The best pizza in the area, very good pasta, and the desserts - especially tiramisu - so good that we could bathe in it.
And I will write again - wonderful, understanding people :)

Loved it. Gnochhi with Gorgonzola was really one of the best we had during the holidays. The service was very helpful and nice. Atmosphere was amazing with great ambiance and lighting

This was one of the cleanest most professional restaurants I've ever been to. The burratta pesto truffle pasta was incredible!! Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience.

Far below expected! I asked for my T-bone medium rare, not raw and cold. Further was the pasta (partner had it) really imbalanced and salty, the tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a supermarket container, and not even the fancy one…

Further are prices very much inflated if you do not choose the menu they offer. To me this place is a HUGE no go…
