Ristorante specializzato in cucina italiana e piatti di pesce fresco, con un'atmosfera accogliente e informale.

A family run restaurant. While our Italian was limited, the staff went above and beyond to explain the menu to us and make recommendations. Nicest variety of vegetarian food! Fish dishes were a sight to behold! Presentation excellent. Amazing flavors.

Francine and Max are amazing. We ate here on our first night in Puglia and loved it so much we had to come back again. They even drove us to and from our place since we did not have a car. On top of the authentic, fresh food and great service, they have two beautiful children that made the experience unforgettable. Any time we come to Puglia, we will be back to Miseria e Nobilita, and we highly recommend to anyone visiting the area

The negative reviews of this establishment are misplaced. The girls are hustling all night making sure everyone is attended to despite the restaurant being only partially full, they took me as a solo diner with no reservation and were extremely accommodating despite my lack of Italian speaking. The food was amazing, particularly the seppia, which I have had several other times recently, and this was, by far, the best version of it. The urchin pasta would probably win this place a Beard award if it was in the US. Very nice place and people.

One and only HORRIBLE experience we had in Puglia. We, a couple, had a very sweet waiter speaking perfect English and comforting us all the time. Food was nice. We’ve ordered as a starter two small pastas and a main to share, which was supposed to be a grilled fish - “a big one to share or two small”, as suggested by the waiter. We haven’t seen the fish before it was grilled - appeared to be two medium fishes (see one on the photo - that’s the portion). The bill for this lunch was unbelievable €90 (!!!), just for a LUNCH, in a village in the middle of nowhere. This included two pastas, “main to share”, still water and two glasses of wine €4-5 each, where these fishes cost €44!!!! Can you imagine our surprise? It’s a complete SCAM - how they are trying to treat people outside of holiday months to get extra money… it looked like chef’s or owner family was seating near us so apparently this inappropriate behaviour is fully approved and appreciated by them… never again and please do find another place to eat when in area.

Their tasting menu is just incredible and nori ravioli is my new favorites dish. On top of that the service made me feel welcome and taken care of. Hopefully I will have a chance to come back.
