This place is absolute must! My partner ate there few years ago and remembered it last year while we were visiting Rome, so we ate on first evening and every other 'till the end of our stay. This year we specifically came for 4 nights for the restaurant. Carbonara is out of this world, and special place in our hearts is for Polpete. If you are longing for sea food, octopus is one of the best prepared I ever ate, whether as a starter or main course, and I eat a lot of octopus! Between tuna and salmon tartare, my vote goes to salmon, as it is lighter (for starter) and refreshing because of lime. Sea bass is my partners favorite, although I would have to say that for me, better option is gnocchi with scampi but only because I don't like potato crust that is on sea bass (childhood trauma), although the dish is perfectly prepared. Luka was our main server both last year and this, and I really appreciate him remembering us and our taste, so he matched wines perfectly each time we visited. I often say that we need more Lukas back in my city. We've met all of the staff and I can only say words of praise for them. We are already planning our next visit to Rome, guess where we'll be eating :)
P. S. We usually spend between 30 and 50 euros per person, but we're usually drinking at least 2 large bottles of water, aperitiv and then match wines with dishes; we also usually have at least one starter to share and then move on to main course.

This place is a must visit❤️
We ordered sirloin steak, fried zucchini flowers with mozzarella, lasagna and vongole.
Vongole is a 10/10, the best we had in rome. And the zucchini with the melted mozarella inside.
I would recommend this place if you’re looking for autenthic fresh flavours.
Also the service was very good although a fully packed restaurant.

we stumbled upon this cute little place as it was right next to our hotel. The atmosphere, service, and food was great! Definitely one of the best places we have tried here in italy! Oh and the tiramisu was SO good. Like the best tiramisu i’ve ever had. So yum and cutest little place to eat

What an incredible experience for our honeymoon! Amazing staff and the food was perfecto. Rigatoni Amatriciana was to die for.. carbonara as well. The staff made us feel so welcomed and were such great human beings. We will definitely be back before we head to Sorrento! Much love

Ambiance very good and they were able to take our reservation for 10 people. Alina the host took very good care of us. Service very excellent and she was very accommodating to us as tourists. Starters, fried zucchini, buffalo mozzarella and Parma ham were all excellent. House red wine very good. I had the cacio e pepe. Others had the carbonara, sliced sirloin steak, roasted octopus. They also were all excellent, octopus was very tender. The desert completed the entire meal. I couldn’t tell which was the best dessert. We tried the lemon ice cream, tiramisu and pistachio parfait. I loved all the desserts.
