Chef de rang per ristorante emiliano

The outdoor dining area was gorgeous and was a much-needed contrast from the claustrophobia of downtown Bologna. The quality of the food was mostly very good. Of the eight things my wife and I tried, the shrimp salad was the only thing I thought was subpar. Their tortellini in parmigiano reggiano cream and fliordilate Bolognese were the two standouts. Bonus points for an excellently-curated wine list and charging a fair price for their wines. I paid 38 euros for a bottle of a very good Super Tuscan. Overall a very good dining experience.

Very tasty restaurant near to Bologna. The chef cooks traditional dishes with his creativity, but keeping every taste very high and pronunciated. The personnel is very smiling and the terrace is very elegant in Summer. There are few rooms upstairs and this place is located 10 mins away from Bologna airport.

Allround excellence is top notch, one of the best places not just in Bologna but in the entire region.

Excellent food that was beautifully presented, with first-rate service provided by. And Massimiliano himself is not only a superb chef, he is also an affable, humble man.

Wow, this place knows how to make food. We went for the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings, and it was truly delicious. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and the menu played with a few concepts to make things fun (I won't spoil any surprises). Every single dish was lovely, and each wine pairing augmented its dish well and brought out further flavours (there was one exception, where I felt the wine was too strong for one of the dishes, but this is a small thing and could simply be that I've not fully appreciated the pairing). The venue itself is beautiful and well worth the trip (it's a short drive outside the centre of Bologna). The chef greeted us at the end, too, to ask for feedback. I felt they are constantly looking for ways to improve. Can't recommend this place enough, be sure to book ahead of time!
