We entered eager to try something, even though we had sandwiches in the car to eat at the end of the descent (ski mountaineering). My boyfriend, having two sandwiches upon arrival, decided not to eat, so I decided to order a full menu (since I eat a first and second course every day for lunch) and possibly let him try the food. Too bad the man at the cash register decided for us that he had to eat too and that we had to pay for a first and second course separately, just to make up for it. Even when confronted and told him the situation, he acted like a joke. It's a real shame for the very kind lady who served us, who immediately started helping us, and for the fact that we would have happily ordered the same dish if only we'd known. We'll remember not to return; it's awful to end a sunny day wanting to relax and get caught up in these Italian childish things... We knew we were supposed to go to Due Baite anyway...
The food was okay, nothing special.

For a refuge at 1,500 meters, I would have expected something more. The quantity and quality of the dishes were not satisfactory, at least by our standards. It's true that we chose the set menu, but not even a limoncello was offered at the end of the meal, given the cold...

Excellent lunch, top view and fantastic climate, we will be back to try the casoncelli

A refuge in the middle of the slopes with a fantastic view of the Orobie Alps. Run by the kind and helpful Semperboni family, the rooms are clean with private bathrooms, and the dishes are tasty, rich, and authentic...my son keeps asking me for the Campel scrambled eggs🤣.
Must do again!
