We visited this great little Italian restaurant near Kings Cross en route to our trip to Paris the next day. Lovely staff and amazing food, fun cocktails and really nice glass of vino tinto. Could have sampled every dish if we had time. I had the squid ink pasta with seafood and chef added some lovely heat to it, wife had the chicken Milanese with a lovely light tomato pasta with it, some cheeky limencello at the end after a home made Tiramisu! Really enjoyed it and will be back

I visited with a friend, and we had an amazing experience! ✨💛

From the moment we walked in until we left, EDI's warm and attentive service made the food taste even better.

The food was delicious, and the outstanding hospitality made the whole experience unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!

Highly recommended if you're looking for great food and even better service. You won't regret it! 😉💛

Had a lovely dinner here on a friday night with my husband, we booked a table for 7:30pm and it started to get busy after this so recommend pre-booking.

The service was excellent, our waiter was very friendly, kind and attentive without being intrusive and worked so hard. Thank you to him and the equally hard-working ladies who were on duty tonight (I think our waiter's name was Lee, but apologies if not!) ❤️

I had the Spaghetti Carbonara & my husband had the Lasagne, both were really good, but highly recommend the Lasagne, chonky portion, great amount of cheese and very hot/fresh with a decent side salad 👌🏻✨️

We also had the 2-for-£16 cocktails which were lovely (mojito and passionfruit frozen margarita) 🍸🍹

We ended with tiramisu & gelato/sorbet for dessert, both excellent and not too sweet 👌🏻✨️

Thank you for a nice evening! ❤️

Rex Cross is hands down the best restaurant I tried in London! I was so impressed that I came back twice just for the cocktails—and they absolutely did not disappoint.

The cocktails are truly excellent, with a beautifully balanced blend of sweet and sour. Every drink feels thoughtfully made and incredibly refreshing. I especially recommend the Rex Punch, which is served in a delightfully rotated glass—such a fun presentation and a fantastic flavor. That night, I enjoyed three cocktails, and each one paired perfectly with the delicious pastas and sides.

The staff also made the experience even better. The owner and the staff were both incredibly friendly, welcoming, and generous with their recommendations. They even helped guide me toward cocktails and dishes that matched my personal tastes.

And the deal is fantastic too—two cocktails for £16 (for same type) all day. I’ll definitely be revisiting Rex Cross whenever I return to London!!

A little gem tucked away up Caledonian Road, a short walk from King's Cross. Lovely cocktails at 2 for £16 & the food couldn't be faulted. I had the squid ink spaghetti marinara & it was delicious, with 2 huge king prawns on top. Was my friends birthday & they brought her dessert on a special plate. Service was really the best. I thoroughly recommend. I took a star off for atmosphere, but that was only because it was a Monday lunchtime & there weren't many customers.
