Mug Café is an absolute jewel in Trieste.
The service is incredible, the coffee drinks are outstanding, and the cupcakes and cheesecakes are truly to die for. Every summer when I return to Trieste, this is one of my first stops — and it never disappoints.

What really sets Mug Café apart is the atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. And let me say this clearly: they have the BEST Wi‑Fi in all of Italy. If you need to download series, work, or simply relax with a perfect drink, this is the place.

I’ll keep coming back every year, and I’ll be sending everyone I know here. A true Trieste treasure.

I enjoyed overall atmosphere, it's cozy yet local, personnel was nice. Great filter coffee that immediately brings happiness along with Tiramisu

Stopped by MUG in Trieste after a long day of sightseeing, and it was the perfect place to catch my breath. I ordered a Cappuccino MUG and tiramisu with Nutella—an interesting combo, but surprisingly delicious. The place has a really nice, relaxed vibe, with a clear focus on quality coffee and desserts, making it a pleasant spot for a sweet break.

The service was efficient, although a warmer smile and a slightly more relaxed pace with clearing tables could make the experience even more welcoming. 😉

The cupcakes were very rich and quite tasty, although I would not say enough to tempt me back. Service and drinks were okay, but that's all it was, okay. We did see they had an outside space near the park on leaving which may have been a nicer place to sit rather than inside.

I really loved my latte macchiato, however the muffin I had - Nutella and mascarpone - was really dry.
We needed to wait long to order and also wait to get our order.
The atmosphere feels creative, warm and friendly:
