Upon arriving,my Fiance and I were immediately greeted by the owner who welcomed us into his restaurant with a huge smile on his face. The warm hospitality and immaculate service is incredible, and the food is even better.

We started with the oysters, had the Paccheri ai Gamberi con pesto di Pistacchio di Bronte e pomodorini confit and Fettucine al ragu di polpo. Each meal was delicious and all paired incredibly well with the bottle of wine that was recommended to us. Trust their recommendations!! The staff is amazing and will not lead you wrong.

Thank you again Mamaioa, we will be back next time we’re in Lecco!

I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at a remarkable restaurant in Lecco, and I can confidently say it was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food. Every course was a masterpiece. The appetizers were fresh and vibrant, the main dishes were flawlessly prepared with locally sourced ingredients, and the desserts were nothing short of heavenly. The flavors were perfectly balanced, highlighting traditional Italian cuisine with a creative twist.

We chose Mamaioa Bistrot for my birthday eve dinner, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we sat down, the service was the absolute best—attentive, friendly, and truly made the evening feel special. You can tell this is a family-run business because of the warmth and personal touch in every detail.

For our main course, we ordered the Chef's special branzino, and it was the star of the show. Weighing an impressive 1.2 kgs, the fish was cooked perfectly in a stunning Mediterranean style with capers, fresh tomatoes, and olives. Every bite was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh.

Paired with a lovely bottle of wine and their fresh-baked bread, it was an impeccable dining experience. We highly recommend Mamaioa Bistrot for an unforgettable meal and truly outstanding service.
