In February most of the restaurants are closed but found this one opened. Unfortunately it was not possible to book anymore, already full.
But I decided to give a chance. After a small dirty road I arrived to a big car park that was already full. I entered in the restaurant and asked if by chance a table was available. Very nicely she prepared a table for me even if the restaurant was already full.
Menu is short but all what I tried was very tasty. From the tonno with vegetables, to the tagliatelle con ragù or the tiramisu. Everything was great.
Service was super nice and efficient.
It's good to see that even in touristic places, some people are still doing things right. I highly recommend the restaurant. It is also an agriturismo so you can stay. Haven't try but I'm sure it is probably as nice as the restaurant.

I've been to Tuscany 3 times and I haven't found a culinary destination that would delight me as much as the Chef at Molinello! You won't find similar flavors anywhere else, as most recipes are the Chef's secret. Although Molinello doesn't operate as regularly as other restaurants in Italy, it's worth including dinner there as part of your Tuscan experience - you'll be delighted!

What an amazing local find. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough if you are looking for delicious food, friendly welcoming staff and a beautiful setting. We were a party of four including a 2 year old and the meal and experience was excellent. If you are in the area stop in for dinner for a true local Tuscan experience.

We had a great dinner at Il Molinello. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the food is excellent, the environment is perfect. If I ever get the chance to eat here again I wouldn’t hesitate.

Recommend making a reservation or calling ahead.
