Tons of different vendors, fresh foods with an international twist.

You must try the truffle place!!

Avocado toast with truffles, pasta with black summer truffle was delightful. I thought the truffle flavor in pasta would be stronger, but it is mild and complements the mild parmesan. Fried calamari (different vendor) also proved to be fresh and competitive with what I tried on Amalfi coast. 🙌🏼

Mercato Centrale Firenze is a wonderful market and a must visit destination in Florence. The streets leading up to the building are lined with countless shops selling leather goods, creating a lively atmosphere even before you arrive.

Inside, the market is spread across two main floors. The ground floor features a mix of delicatessens, grocery stalls, fresh produce vendors, and a selection of casual eateries. The upper floor is dedicated to food, with numerous vendors offering a wide variety of dishes from Italy and beyond. In the center, there are plenty of tables and seating areas where visitors can relax and enjoy their meals.

The atmosphere is vibrant, colorful, cheerful, and full of energy. Whether you’re looking to shop, eat, or simply soak in the local culture, Mercato Centrale Firenze is an excellent place to visit. Highly recommended !!!

Mercato Centrale Florence is a must-visit destination for food lovers, located in the heart of the city. It offers a lively atmosphere with a great local vibe, giving visitors the chance to experience Florence like a local.

We enjoyed the amazing ribs and burger, both incredibly tasty and full of flavor. The variety of food options, vibrant setting, and welcoming atmosphere make it a great place to enjoy a casual meal.

A great value experience with delicious food, friendly service, and an authentic Florentine market atmosphere. Highly recommended when visiting Florence!

We went to Il Mercato Centrale Firenze 4 times during our stay because it was just that good. The variety of food is amazing — there’s something for everyone and every meal we had was delicious. From fresh pasta to pizza, desserts and local dishes, everything tasted fresh and full of flavour.

Perfect for tourists wanting to experience a mix of authentic Italian food without having to choose just one restaurant. We kept finding ourselves wanting to come back!

Came for their fresh produce mkt. But it’s closed on Sunday. Went up to the 2nd flr and was amazed by the various food stalls in this big foodcourt like settings.
All the food looks delicious…, and we ordered some even though we had breakfast earlier on. Do come and check it out.
