Hotel Signal, nel cuore delle Alpi come a casa tua

Our second stay here after a 5 year gap. This time we had our little one with us. Really happy the hotel is still here. It's like staying with an old family friend. Same friendly staff with some new faces. Both ladies running the lounge and dinner areas were super. Great coffee to start the day. Good wine selections to chill by the fire before meal times. Higly recommended. Good location a short walk from the ski area. Although make sure your rental car has winter tires fitted when leaving other wise you may be spinning a bit.

The best hotel with incredible employees and food❤️

A lovely hotel and excelent restaurant with bar, located in the beautiful natural enviroment of Macugnaga, at the foot of Mount Rosa. A special characteristic of this hotel is the friendly reception from the owners, Mrs Annalisa and his son Claudio. The interior of the hotel, provided with typical alpine furniture, create a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
The food is very tasteful, with delicious courses, offering a great selection. wine and drinks are good too. Also good for vegetarians. Custom courses are also avaliable.
Hotel facility also include parking area, wi-fi and a nice garden, from wich is possible to enjoy a panoramic view of the Monte Rosa and the surrounding peaks. Animals are admitted.
Since various years, every summer I come here and I have been enjoying the warm hospitality of this hotel, appreciating its mix of tradition with modern fittings. Staying here I really feel at home.

Our stay here was amazing - they were so caring!
1) When we called to confirm check in time (we hiked the Tour de Monte Rosa) they offered to pick us up at the end of The Valley to save us the last 2km into town (we ended up walking but the offer was really sweet).
2) We stayed in the Starsbox which was just an amazing experience (you can use the washroom & shower in the hotel, a short walk away - towels and even a hair dryer provided).
3) They helped us with all our requests (how to get our laundry dry, filling our water bottles, a bin liner to protect my backpack).
4) Breakfast was just amazing!!

Had a lunch in the restaurant, and they do provide nice food. The location is good, and the atmosphere is cozy and like family. Really nice one.
