We felt very welcomed in one of the apartments belonging to the Hotel Bucaneve. The apartment was cosy and well furnished.

There is a 5-minute walk (with ski boots on) to the Cretaz/Campetto ski lifts. You can buy ski passes at the reception. This also applies to people who are not staying at the hotel.

A special mention goes to Mr. Renato Gala from the reception and to Mr. Ahmed, the technician, who both made sure that all our needs were fulfilled.

We stayed here for six nights. The whole experience was amazing. Even for the high standard that we have come to expect from Italian resorts service this was above and beyond. The breakfast was great combining a large buffet with individual orders for egg dishes. The spa was also very good with a view of Cervino ( Matterhorn ) from the indoor hot tub. Deep tissue massage available and appreciated as well as the multi saunas and indoor pool. The dinner restaurant 27 is just a block away in town. We only booked one dinner there but we would recommend doing more dinners there as it was the best restaurant we ate at in a city with 70 nice restaurants. Posted is a view of Cervino out or the window as we walked up the stairs.

Charming and welcoming hotel in an excellent central location. Close to the main chair lift, restaurants and shops. Good ski room with heated boot rack and plenty of storage. Complementary hotel minibus to the cable car and free parking directly outside the hotel.
Delicious breakfast, wide selection of cakes, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, variety of scrumptious eggs cooked to order. Bread selection is limited but everything else was wonderful. Cozy relaxing lounge and bar area.
The spa , swimming pool , steam room and saunas was excellent. Opens in the afternoon only. The jacuzzi wasn't hot but the pool was a comfortable temperature. Over 16s only in the steam and sauna area. Two saunas of different temperatures. The steam room smells like a musty cave but it's clean and relaxing. Fresh towels, fresh fruit and juices were always available in the spa. Robes and flip flops are given in the rooms.
Our room was georgous, traditional alpine decor, views to the Matterhorn. Large modern shower and bathroom. Spotlessly clean.
I would definite return to the hotel and highly recommend it .
The staff couldn't be more helpful, warm and welcoming.
Thank you!

"Family home" feeling hotel, in the middle of Cervinia. Literally 4 minutes walk from the ski room to the lift.
Great service in everything from reception, cleaning, breakfast to Spa.
They offer a free great last skiday option with storage, lockers for your stuff, and two "shower and change rooms" that enabled me to ski a full extra day on checkout day and still be fresh for the trip home.
Breakfast is very nice, don't miss the juicer where you can make your favourite morning booster with carrots, selleri, and ginger. Since you are in Italy their coffee selection is stellar! Also a small alacarte with omelettes etc ordered from your table.
Room was spacious and traditional, but with nice upgrades. Bathroom roomy with everything you need.
What really sets this hotel apart, is their Spa that's included in the room price. 3 different saunas, a pool, a jacuzzi and plenty of spaces with relax chairs. Massage for aching ski bodies available at a reasonable price. Super nice.
When you return there is a small bar with a great bartender making any drink you want, super experienced and nice.

Bloody hell, this is not a 4-star hotel! 😡
Let's start with the price: £400 a night for a tiny room and a rubbish breakfast? Not worth it, mate.

And the room itself? Armchair's broken, lights are missing, and they only gave us water on the first day... it's like they're trying to rip us off.

But the reception staff? Absolutely miserable. "No, we don't have Sky, foreigners don't want it." "No, we don't do discounts for ski passes." Unbelievable.

And the breakfast? Frozen croissants and supermarket jam... no local specialties, nothing homemade.

The spa? Dirty and freezing cold. Told them it was cold, they said it was 32 degrees... didn't know what they were talking about.
