On our way to Matera, we found this bakery where we could have lunch with delicious, previously unknown products. We ordered pizza, lasagna, and baked pasta—all delicious. We saw the charcoal-fired pizza, but didn't buy it. The lady at the counter was alone serving, and the line was growing. We waited about 15-20 minutes before we could order, since it was rush hour. We were able to eat inside because there was a small shelf where you could put your plate and sit on a stool. The interior is quite small, and there's no room outside for tables. The lady must be known for her delicious products, since there were many locals there.

A wonderful experience. In addition to purchasing food, you can also eat it on-site; there's a small dining room next to the restaurant.
In addition to baked goods like various types of pan pizzas and different types of flour, you can also enjoy first courses, second courses, and side dishes. Ideal for a quick lunch break.

Dal Grano – An experience that will conquer your heart (and your palate)

Dal Grano isn't just a restaurant: it's an extraordinary journey through taste, where every bite tells a story of passion, quality, and tradition. Everything here is divine, but there are two true stars that deserve an honorable mention: the scrocchiarella and the octopus sandwich.

The scrocchiarella is a masterpiece of lightness and crunchiness: thin, fragrant, with a perfect leavening that gives every bite an explosion of authentic flavors. An incredible balance of softness and crunchiness that captivates you from the first bite.

And then there's the octopus sandwich: simply unforgettable. The octopus is cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and wrapped in artisanal bread that enhances every nuance of flavor. A perfect harmony of sea and land, making this sandwich an experience worth trying at least once in a lifetime.

Dal Grano is the ideal place for those who love good food without compromise: excellent ingredients, impeccable technique, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. It's the kind of place where you leave already thinking about when you'll be back.

If you haven't tried it yet, trust me: Dal Grano is a must-visit.

We celebrated yet another birthday, and I must say that the owner, Francesco, outdid himself tonight. He set a table for us outside, and every course left our guests speechless. Hats off to
Francesco's mother, who owns a bakery in a nearby town, for the amazing cake. Highly recommended for lunch, too, where they offer first courses, side dishes, and dessert, as well as excellent pizzas of every variety. Well done, Francesco 👏👏👏
Excellent value for money.

Lunch break with friends, friendly helpful staff. It's a shame the place is a bit small, we had to do the tasting outside. With the summer weather at rush hour, it's not the best. However, the quality of the products was excellent, the price was a bit high based on what we tasted.
