Ristorante ispirato all'Antica Roma che offre piatti tipici dell'epoca in un'ambientazione con affreschi colorati.

This is a restaurant with a Roman theme. The walls of the inside area are decorated with imitation frescos based on proper ones in the Pompei ruins. There are also outside dining areas. You can have the option of wearing togas and drinks are served in authentic, Roman pottery. We ordered white wine but were initially brought red - this was swiftly corrected. The menus are presented inside wooden covers each featuring a lovely painting of a bird. There are two set menus featuring 5 courses and a conventional A la Carte menu. The bread was warm, being freshly baked and was accompanied with green olives and broad butter beans.
Our main courses were a chicken dish with poccini mushrooms, pancetta and bread served with apple, avocado, lettuce and carrot and a linguine pasta dish with anchovies and pine nuts. I expected either chicken breast or leg but, unusually, it was a rolled joint stuffed. It was delicious as was the pasta! 😋 We were here for dinner and there was only a few other tables occupied, making for a quiet atmosphere. I suspect it will be busy during the day when day trippers to Pompei visit it. Service was good with the owner occasionally visiting our table to make sure all was good. A unique experience. 😃

Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was immersive and fun, and the whole Roman-themed dinner was incredibly well done. Definitely worth it.

We chose this place because of the reviews, even though it is not cheap. And we did right. I'd rather eat smaller, but tasty portions, then large and cheap, but bad in taste.

Service was good, young waiters are nice to look at and they offered us a table even though we had no reservation.

We sat outside, but indoors is very nicely decorated and I noticed guests dressing in roman toga's.

The only comment goes to flies outside.

Amazing food, wonderful staff, kind owner, beautiful setting. Do not miss this unique experience in Pompei! They took incredible care of our group and we will certainly return.

Amazing food! I recommend just about anything the staff were very nice and also dressed in togas which was cool the service was good and food came fast amazing flavor to everything particularly the tomato’s. It’s also a bit out of the way so it may be harder to spot but definitely worth it. Menu and waiters both accommodate English.
