We had a fantastic experience at Casa Saltara. The owners gave us a warm welcome and were present throughout the restaurant, making sure everything was perfect. The service was outstanding—the staff paid attention to every detail and took great care of each table, providing a simple yet highly effective dining experience.

The food was absolutely delicious. We started with a small welcome entrée, followed by a shared cheese board featuring seven different types of Pecorino with varying levels of aging. It was excellent, although quite filling for two people.

For our main courses, we had the traditional culurgiones and the porceddu sardo, a slow-roasted suckling pig cooked in a wood-fired oven and served on myrtle leaves to enhance its flavor. We also ordered vegetables from their own garden. While they were fresh, I found them a bit expensive and expected a wider selection of seasonal vegetables.

Overall, the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service offered excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

An amazing dining experience that everyone visiting Santa Teresa Gallura should try.

We went there for aperitif and dinner and boy were we not amazed ... The food and wine were phenomenal and you can't go wrong with any choice. The place looks like a dream ... The staff were all absolutely brilliant. Both Paulas Who were so kind and sweet and accommodated us with their warm welcome, Matteo who was a perfect professional and guided us through our choices, Aruna who made us exceptional cocktails and of course the owner and the legend himself, Mario ... They all made us feel so special and wanting to go back. Definitely a place bookmarked in my map and my heart.

A wonderful experience overall!
Amazing food, perfect service and incredibly friendly staff.

Dinner here was super special. It’s such a beautiful and romantic atmosphere for dinner. The service is out of this world. The food felt like it celebrated the best of Sardinian produce! The charcuterie board was probably the best I’ve ever had - don’t skip it. The pastas were great. The roast porceddu was really tasty, it was definitely not the best pork I’ve ever had as I think it’s hard to keep all the cuts moist when cooked over fire. For dessert I personally do not think tiramisu benefits from edits of any kind, including the addition of myrtle which they do here.

But overall this meal was incredible I wished we had stayed at the hotel - the photos on booking.com don’t do it justice at all.

We just came for the restaurant on a saturday evening and it was a great surprise !

I tried many dishes including porcetta and they were all delicious !

We were outside and I must say the place was very quiet and beautiful ! As the temperature was a bit cold, they even provided plaids which was perfect to keep us warm.

Overall, it turned out to be a great moment for us!

Thank you !
