Il Biscardi Hotel è un hotel a quattro stelle di nuova costruzione situato nel cuore di Bari, che combina l'eleganza classica dell'architettura italiana con un design interno contemporaneo.

The hotel is new, modern, and very nice, as well as clean—the room was cleaned every day and dirty towels were replaced. The staff is helpful and responsive. The breakfast is tasty—besides the buffet, coffee, cappuccino, etc. are prepared by the staff using a good machine. At the beginning of our stay, we noticed that the hairdryer in the bathroom was broken, we informed the reception and immediately received a new one. I recommend the hotel and would gladly visit it again myself.

I wanted to give all 5 stars but our 13th stay in 30+ days fell way short of the service levels and the attention to details we have come accustomed to in other spots. First, our room wasn't ready when we arrived, which was not expected at 1pm. She said to just leave our luggage in the lobby which was in the small lobby area again fine, but a little open. We did and when I came back five minutes later to grab my sunglasses there was nobody at the desk and the bags were just sitting there so I was hoping they were going to be be there when we got back. I asked the person that they can put them in the room in 30 minutes when the room is ready and she said no we would have to come back to do it. We were goung to be gone for 3 hours but luckily the bags were still there. Very simple little thing that could have easily been done to Increase service. We had to leave at 6:15am. Since this was before breakfast, the attendance stated that she would put together a breakfast box for the morning however it was not noted or ready so no breakfast as our taxi was waiting. 3rd, the AC didn't seem to work as well as it could have. Rocco came by but couldn't really have it checked until am. At least, he came up to check. All of these "little" things are not required but just the bags and breakfast would have been EASY things that would've made it a 5. Location is walkable to train but about 10-12 mins. Ok, if you don't have lots of bags. I hope they fix the little service items as the place was new and very comfortable....less the AC

A small, simple hotel where the staff were very friendly and responsive. We were there for one night as a stopover, so nothing too much going on. The location is good for access to the train station and the old town, food and more.

A lovely new and very clean hotel. Fresh towels every day and very friendly staff. Especially Rocco and Valeria on reception and Pedro in the bar. Great Aperol Spritz!

Lovely hotel (I had booked the Guest House but got an upgrade to the hotel because they were working on the B&B). They had just opened it and everything was new, fresh and clean. Lovely desk staff (thank you so much for your kindness, Valeria!) and the private garage is a great thing in a busy town like Bari. I paid 18,00 euro a day which is a good fare in Bari, where garages cost 2-3 euros per hour. Just a little scary when the doors close automatically and you're still inside but not to worry, you can open everything back from inside the garage! :D The location can be a little noisy, since it's close to a railroad crossing and its bells are quite loud. There are not many trains during the night, though, at least I didn't hear any, they start in the morning. The city council probably just changed the roads around the hotel (shiny new signs everywhere) because Google maps gets completely crazy when trying to find the little alley behind the hotel where the garage is located and instructs you to go down roads that are now closed for traffic in the direction you're coming from, so pay attention until Maps gets recalibrated! Lovely complimentary toilet set with toothbrush & toothpaste, body lotion, shower cap and sewing kit (very handy, I needed to repair something). The breakfast area is also a lovely bistrot on the street side, open all day. Didn't try their full breakfast, though, just their cappuccino and croissants which were nice.
To be improved: I liked the place very much, these are just constructive suggestions. Maybe management can ask Ferrovie Sud Est to lower the volume of their railroad crossing a bit. :)
And it would be nice to have coffee and coffee milk too in the bedroom, not only tea.
