Price-wise, this was an excellent choice. The room was small but spotless, well-equipped, and had everything I needed. The staff truly go above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. They are available on-site between 6:30 and 18:30, but the owner is always just a WhatsApp or phone call away and very responsive. Only one staff member speaks fluent English, but with Google Translate that was never an issue. Just make sure to communicate in advance if you’re arriving after 18:00.

There’s secure parking, a good breakfast and lunch service, and the location is convenient—just one bus ride into the city, about 10 minutes by car, or a 40-minute walk. The area also offers excellent dining options and a beautiful swimming pool. If you go later in the day or when it’s less crowded, you don’t even need to pay for sunbeds or umbrellas (locals tend to come with their kids when it’s busier). A supermarket, gas station, and pharmacy are all close by, which is very practical.

I stayed here for both work and tourism, and it worked perfectly for both. The only improvement I’d suggest is strengthening the Wi-Fi around the dining and pool area, though the connection in the room was more than fast enough for streaming.

Overall, a clean, friendly, and well-run place that offers great value. I would happily stay again and can absolutely recommend it for a visit to Bari.

P.S. The key to the main entrance can be a bit tricky—test it out before heading off for drinks.

I have booked through Booking.com with breakfast and parking. Breakfast is typical Italian, swimming pool is lovely you can use the soft seating for free but you have to pay for sun loungers. It's a small b&b in the colonial building dated back to 1878. Is good value for money

You are a dishonest hotel! You charged 139 euros even though we had canceled the room within the established time without incurring any charges. Your potential customers must choose other hotels and not yours because you are thieves

Nobody to show us the room, everything was locked up. From a distance they openen the gate so we could go inside! There would be some one there at 15.30 but no one showed up. I rang because we wanted information to go out in Centro historico. They would be there at 18.30 they said then! I said we couldn’t wait and she gave me the bus number.

Room was nothing special, one tiny little wardrobe to hang your clothes, no shelving, Only one little chair! I would invest in a good build wardrobe with shelves. The mattress was awful, the springs hurts our body’s.
Overly decorated room! Curly loose bed head, wasn’t fixed. Fluffy curtains and table cloths but no amenities what so ever. Little shower cabine, my husband (big man) felt not good about that.

Breakfast was terrible, lukewarm coffee and tea with foam on it, water had not boiled, and it took ages to come. Two different sorts of old cereals in little jam pots . No lovely fresh bread (toast in plastic), no cheese, no ham, only little pre packed jams and other horrible things. No yogurt on the breakfast table, so I took it myself out of the fridge not fresh yogurt off course, pre packed. Also some sweet stuff from the day before. The cleaning lady was lovely. The man who was in and out was very unfriendly, probably the owner!

We were going to stay for four nights, but no thank you. 1 night was more than enough! Not a high end B&B. Nice old house in a mainly modern area ! Far away from the lovely town, Bari!

Unusual booking and reception where everything is done over WhatsApp, that said its a lovely location, pool, didn't eat in, but very well located for local resturants
