Delicious food in a historic setting and a 4th generation family run restaurant.

We just finished our meal here and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in they made us feel like family or friends before serving us delicious food and wine throughout the evening.

The food itself is made with a lot of local ingredients and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, helping with food and wine choices, as well as giving information about the origins of the produce. It's a husband and wife team and both are really friendly and warm and make you feel extremely welcome.

We had a lovely evening and we'd definitely recommend coming here when visiting the area.

We spent an amazing night at this place! I really enjoyed the authentic & traditional ambience and food. The location is full of charme like the lovely owners themselves. We received four courses, two times I had wet eyes because of the insane taste. I want to say thank you to the great chef, she is awesome! And also to the charming sommelier. Wish you the best for the next 5 generations!

We had an exceptional, great evening. Awesome, handmade food that was truly made with heart. Excellent, warm and welcoming service in a beautiful old restaurant lookin like a wine cellar with so much to discover and see. You're great, keep it up!
And of course a great wine selection to accomplish the food.

Don't expect Pizza and Lasagna, Italian kitchen has so much more to offer.

We had the four-course "surprise" menu and were not disappointed by any choice made by the chef.

Thanks for having us, we look forward to visit your place again.

Belissimo! 🤌

It’s a local restaurant, not touristic, owned by a family in it’s 4th generation. The doughter was helping as well to learn the job. Diner was very special, tipical italien with a special touch. The the composition of the ingredients were special combinations. The wine list was very diverse: from very nice (expensive) bottles to very tasty affordable bottles. Finally, the service was very friendly, helpful and did everything to offer us a nice evening.

The Antica Osteria San Pietro is not only the oldest Osteria of Verbania, it is also a hidden treasure that delivers an unforgettable dining experience.
The heart and soul of the restaurant are the two owners, Erika, the outstanding chef, whose culinary creations are nothing short of exceptional, and Michele, whose hospitality on sight, and expertise in spirits elevates the experience to a warm hearted hospitality where Michelin star level food is served with perfect wine pairings.
Every dish is a masterpiece (as you can eventually see in the pictures), bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. What sets this Osteria apart is not only the incredible food but also its carefully curated Enoteca, offering a wide selection of wines and spirits for guests to take home. With all of this and the warm, welcoming atmosphere, the Antica Osteria San Pietro is a must-visit for an extraordinary, value-filled experience.
We will be back soon!
