Decent for a quick breakfast or lunch before the train comes. I ordered a cappuccino which was ok & an arancini which was fine. The prices were good but the staff quite rude. Overall I prefer other cafes on the 1st floor of termini.

Antica Focacceria San Francesco, located inside Rome’s central train station, is a convenient stop for a quick breakfast while waiting for your train. We grabbed some croissants and a macchiato. The pastries were decent, fresh enough to satisfy a morning craving. However, the coffee was underwhelming—lacking the rich flavor you’d expect in Italy. As expected for a station location, the prices are higher than average, but that comes with the convenience. It’s fine for a quick bite on the go, but not somewhere to linger or seek out for quality.

Waiting for our train to the airport and decided to grab a bite to eat and chose Antica Focaccia S. Francesco at the train station and we were totally shocked about the quality of the sandwich we chose.

We ordered a tomato and mozzarella cheese sandwich on a fresh thin roll. Amazing! The bread was soft with a slight crisp butter crust, the tomatoes actually had flavor and the cheese was very fresh. Fantastic sandwich.

I left here a negative review because of the extremely rude personnel.
These two persons on the photo prohibited to sit at any table because we just would like to order coffee and desserts. They told us that it was only possible to sit there if we would order a complex meal. It would be even ok, but there were many clients there sitting with just drinks and without any meal. I pointed that to the personnel but it didn’t work out. When we continued sitting at the table the woman became defiantly serve the table with napkins and glasses showing us we to get out of there. She also behaved very rude and came to us several times to squeeze us out.
We had 15 minutes before train to have a snack but we left for train without it.
Grazie! Ciao ragazzi!

Great service, good food, good price and convenient location (upstairs, inside Termini station 🚉). Recommended if you need to have lunch 🍽️ waiting for the 🚆train. I ate here before going to Ciampino airport (which is too small to have a good restaurant/food place).
