Great place, great staff, great food! We’ve felt very welcomed, and enjoyed so much our dinner! Please, try everything and make sure you finish with some desserts (don’t skip it!)! Thank you!

Great little place, solid menu, food very good, what's not to like? Excellent service, nice atmosphere. I had a braised octopus pasta which was very tasty and the meat was very tender.

Wonderful place to eat in Lisbon, everything we got was delicious. We always take pictures of food for reviews but this time we pretty much forgot as we were too into it! As starter we got the stuffed fiori di zucca and fried latterini, then polpetti affogati (as main) which were super tender and tasty and spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga di muggine that everybody else got and highly praised. Babà was also a treat! Not a fan of eating Italian out of Italy but for this I can make an exception. 🎶

From Italy With Love.

A'Paranza is a genuine italian restaurant, with authentic italian food and italian staff members who really know their business.

The food is undeniably high quality and loyal to the original italian recipes.

The staff is polite and friendly even while not being fully fluent in portuguese (english communication is preferred).

The restaurant tends to get full so reservations are a must if you want to get a table.

It gets busy and a bit noisy inside, specially in the center of the dining room (the edge closer to the restrooms and kitchens is quieter but also less iluminated).

The food preparation can also be a bit slow (around 20 minutes for my pasta) probably because of the high volume of costumers. It is worth the wait though.

I was very satisfied with my experience in A'Paranza and i'm definitely adding it to my italian restaurants "must visit" list thanks to it's authenticity and high standards.

5 stars.

This was recommended by a friend. She won’t fool me twice.

The pasta wasn’t al dente unless a chalky film left in your mouth is the goal. It was plain undercooked. The flavors were pretty flat otherwise. A bit lemon zest or similar would have lifted the dish, giving it depth.

The shrimp and asparagus risotto leaves a giant question mark. I know risotto is a simple dish, but it so often poorly executed. The rice was fine, but bordering on overcooked. The shrimp were terrible. Gritty texture that has me believe the shrimps come to the kitchen pre- cooked before being cooked again. Just buy quality fresh shrimp and put fewer on the plate.

We discussed how to handle the situation. I wanted to pay and go and just not return. However, the waiter insisted on knowing why the plates were still half full. My partner explained it to them while paying. Considering their response was silence why bother asking?

So here we are.
